Hi, I’m Lou, co-founder of Wellbeing in Spoonfuls.
I’ve always been into wellbeing – yoga, reflexology, meditation, reiki, aromatherapy… you name it 🧡. And since I’ve had CFS, wellbeing activities have become more important than ever in coping with day-to-day life.
But I also long to take time out at a wellbeing retreat, like I used to. A few days where all I have to think about is looking after myself and all I have to do is be present. 🥰 Sounds great, right? Yet no matter how hard I looked, I never found a retreat that offered the flexibility and support I need – too big, too busy, too much of a good thing 😥
For a long time, the more I thought about it, the more passionate I became that people with chronic fatigue should be able to go to retreats! How hard can it be to make retreats accessible for us?
I started talking about this a lot and over time the idea of a new kind of retreat began to take shape… and soon a team emerged with all the experience and skills to run it!
✨Our Gentle Wellbeing retreat is taking place 2-6 June in Sedbergh, Cumbria. I’m so excited to be putting this unique event out there at last, see you there!
